At MSconsultors<\/strong> we had the pleasure of participating in the conference organized by the Cl\u00faster de Seguretat Contra Incendis de Catalunya (CL\u00daSIC)<\/strong>\u00a0at the College of Industrial Engineers of Catalonia<\/strong>, dedicated to the new Fire Safety Regulations in Industrial Establishments (RESCIEI)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A meeting that brought together professionals and experts from the sector to analyze the new features of this regulation, which replaces the one that had been in force since 2004, and which represents an important step in updating fire safety criteria in the industrial world.

A regulation that looks to the future<\/h3>\n

During the day, the focus was on the main changes<\/strong> introduced by the RESCIEI, especially in relation to:<\/p>\n

  • The increase in the maximum areas of fire sectors<\/strong>, adapted to the risk of the activity.<\/li>\n
  • Redefinition of the intrinsic risk levels of industrial establishments.<\/li>\n
  • The modernization of technical criteria<\/strong>, taking into account the use of new technologies and harmonisation with European regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
